Referring to the letter from the Chief Intelligence Officer, Royal Air Force Delegation, Washington, MR. CACCIA said that, provided adequate security precautions were taken, the Foreign Office saw considerable advantage in making available high level Intelligence appreciations to General Vandenberg as being a means of injecting the British view into high places in America. SIR STEWART MENZIES reported that he was expecting a visit during the coming week from Colonel Kingham-Douglas and Mr. Crow, who were General Vandenberg's Deputies in the Central Intelligence Group.
