3. PROPOSED EXCHANGE OF BRITISH AND RUSSIAN MISSIONS IN GERMANY (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(46) 22nd Mtg. (0) Min.1) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary, reporting that the Joint Intelligence Committee, Control Commission for Germany, had recommended that, in view of the fact that all research work had now ceased in the British zone of Germany, the restrictions placed* on visits by the Russians to those research establishments should now be removed; and that the Deputy Chiefs of Staff Committee had agreedø that from the point of view of that Committee, such restrictions could be removed.
