(b) A final report of the Ad Hoc Committee on Service attaches, and a reportø on the geographical set-up of Service attaches. ø J.I.C./744/46. Report on Pay and Allowances BRIGADIER PAGE said that the report on Pay and Allowances had been passed by the Wilson-Smith SubCommittee, but that they had not accepted the proposal for all rates to be raised by 5/-. The situation generally, he thought, was satisfactory. The Treasury has graded by capitals the rates of station allowances payable. MR. CACCIA asked whether the conclusions of the report would mean that Service Attaches could now be selected irrespective of their private means.
