OPERATIONAL PLANNING (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(46) 16th Meeting (0) Minute 9) THE SUB-COMMITTEE considered a letter@from Sir Stewart Menzies addressed to the Secretary of theChiefs of Staff Committee requesting guidance, for planning purposes, with regard to the priorities of countries where special operations were most likely to be required, in accordance with the directive+issued by the Chiefs of Staff Committee. At their previous meeting the SubCommittee had agreed to discuss this matter with the Directors of Plans.
