GENERAL STRONG undertook to discuss the question of China with the Australian Director when appointed. He said that the Australians would undoubtedly encounter a large number of practical difficulties which would have to be overcome. As regards information concerning communications, airfields and ports, he asked whether Service Ministries would consider it essential for the sections concerned in the Joint Intelligence Bureau in the U.K., to continue to deal with those subjects on a world-wide basis.
