PUBLICITY OF SERVICE STATISTICS (Previous Reference J.I.C.(46) 6th Meeting, Minute 8) THE SUB-COMMITTEE were informed, with reference to their previous discussion of this matter, that the Prime Minister had seen a draft of the Defence White Paper and that the paper was likely to be discussed at a meeting of the Defence Committee to be held on the following Friday. THE SUB-COMMITTEE:Took note of the above. 4. INTELLIGENCE INTERESTS OF COMMANDS OVERSEAS THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a minuteø by the Secretary, covering a memorandum by the Director of Military Intelligence, concerning a telegram+ from C.M.F., asking for clarification of a recent Chiefs of Staff ruling* about the spheres of interest of C.-in-C., C.M.F., in so far as it affected intelligence.
