SECURITY OF DECEPTION (Previous Reference: J.I.C./20/46) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before than a minute+ by the Secretary covering a minute by the London Controlling Officer on the advisability of issuing a 'D' Notice to the Press on strategical deception. After discussion, THE SUB-COMMITTEE:(a) Agreed with the views expressed by the London Controlling Officer in his minute. (b) Agreed that no further steps should be taken to issue a 'D' Notice to the Press on this subject. (c) Instructed the Secretary to inform the Joint Staff Mission, Washington, accordingly.
