1. USE OF AIR PHOTOGRAPHY FOR INTELLIGENCE PURPOSES. (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(45) 78th Mtg. (0) Minute 6) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a minute* by the Secretary covering a minute from the Joint Photographic Reconnaissance committee requesting a ruling on possible courses of action with regard to air cover of North Africa. This matter had been discussed at the previous meeting of the sub-Committee and had been referred to the Deputy Directors of Intelligence, for consultation with a representative of the Inter-Service Topographical Department.
