In discussion it was agreed that any information concerning the proposed American organization would be most welcome. AIR VICE MARSHAL ELMHIRST again referred to the letter he had received from the Secretary of Sir John Anderson's Committee and said that it had been suggested by Sir John Anderson that the British element of the Tube Alloy Intelligence Directorate would be considerably strengthened if one or two representatives of the Service Departments, now members of the Joint Scientific Intelligence Committee, could be seconded for duty with the Tube Alloy Intelligence Directorate.
