BRIGADIER ALLEN said that he saw no security objection to the release of this information as the methods whereby they were obtained were common practice on both sides during the war. THE ASSISTANT CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF (INTELLIGENCE) said that the disclosure of British plans for landing forces in Norway might be used by the Defence at the trials as justification for German attacks on neutral countries. MR. ROGER ALLEN said that we must ensure that the impression was not given that the Germans had forestalled us in their invasion of Norway.
