prepared to advise at all times on security questions affecting the J.I.B. COMMANDER FLEMING said that, in practice, the Administrative officer would be responsible for security in the Bureau. COMMANDER FLEMING said that his Committee was anxious that there should be an early meeting of the Joint Scientific Intelligence Committee and the Joint Technical Intelligence Committee. BRIGADIER THORNTON said that the War Office Scientific Intelligence Section had not yet been set up. As regards Technical Intelligence, it would be inconvenient to house the members of the Technical Intelligence Sections in temporary accommodation now, because of current work in hand.
