1. DISPOSAL OF DOCUMENTS FOUND IN THE O.K.W. (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(45) 51st Meeting -Item 10) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them minutes by the Secretary (JIC/1139/45 dated 13th August, 1945 and JIC/1089/45 dated 3rd August, 1945). After discussion THE SUB-COMMITTEE:(i) Agreed that the remaining British examination of these documents could best be done in Germany. The documents could then be sent direct to U.S.A., without coming first to this country. (ii) Invited the War Office to take up with the appropriate American authorities the action proposed at (i) above.
