THE SUB-COMMITTEE:(i) Agreed that they would continue action with a view to obtaining a Director and Deputy Director for the Bureau without delay. (ii) Agreed that a committee as proposed at "X" above should undertake such preliminary work as it could for setting the Bureau in operation, reporting to the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee. (iii) Agreed that the committee should call in other representatives as required. (iv) Instructed the Secretary to take up with the Treasury the nomination of a Treasury representative to work on the committee.
