4. ANALYSIS OF GERMANY'S FINAL COLLAPSE AND FACTUAL REPORT ON THE GERMAN WAR EFFORT At their meeting on the 5th June, 1945 (J.I.C.(45) 38th Meeting (0) Item 3), the SUB-COMMITTEE had agreed to defer consideration of this subject for three weeks. The SubCommittee now had before them a minute by the Secretary (J.I.C./819/45, dated 18th June, 1945), covering a minute by the Director of Naval Intelligence, suggesting that a Factual Report on the German War Effort might now be prepared, and giving draft headings for such a report.
