3. PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF AN INTERROGATION CENTRE IN THE VICINITY OF WASHINGTON. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Minute by the Secretary (J.I.C./709/45 dated 28th May, 1945), covering a Minute from the Chairman referring to a proposal by the G-2 Division of the War Department that an interrogation centre in the vicinity of Washington should be immediately established in order to question at length the most important German and Austrian political and military personnel released from the concentration camp at Dobbiaco and now in the hands of A.F.H.Q.
