MR. LAWRENCE said that if Sir Henry Tizard was associated with the enquiry he would help in the provision of suitable scientists for S.I.A.S. After further discussion, THE SUB-COMMITTEE for the consideration of the Directors recommended of Intelligence:(i) The formation of an ad hoc committee to make proposals regarding British representation on S.I.A.S. and as to how co-ordination between C.I.O.S. and S.I.A.S. might be improved. (ii) That the ad hoc committee at (i) above should consult with Sir Henry Tizard; and informally with S.H.A.E.F.
