3. INVITATION TO SIR THEODORE ADAMS BY THE FOREIGN OFFICE. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Minute by the Secretary (J.I.C./85/45 dated 20th January, 1945), covering a Memorandum by the Chairman, proposing that he should ask the Foreign secretary to invite Sir Theodore Adams to become a member of the Inter-Departmental Commission on Facilities for Oriental Languages. THE SUB-COMMITTEE:Approved the Chairman's proposal. 4. REPORT BY SIR THEODORE ADAMS ON VISIT TO S.E.A.C. AND INDIA. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before tham a Report by Sir Theodore Adams on his visit during December, 1944, to S.E.A.C.
