(v) A number of men who had been trained in the Japanese language to meet the requirements of the "Y" service, would become available for post-war requirements. THE SUB-COMMITTEE:(a) Invited Sir Theodore Adams, in consultation with Wing Commander Guimaraens, Major Ashley Sparkes, and Major Harris, to investigate and make recommendations on the points raised in the Memorandum by Air Commodore Hewitt. (b) Invited the War Office to forward the correspondence between the War Office and the Australian authorities on Japanese language instruction to Sir Theodore Adams and the Dominions Office.
