1. PHOTOGRAPHIC RECONNAISSANCE THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Minute by the Director of Naval Intelligence (P.139 dated 20th November 1944) raising a question of priorities in regard to photographic reconnaissance of a certain area. After discussion the SUB-COMMITTEE:Invited the Director of Naval Intelligence to take up the question with the operations Branches of the Ministries concerned. 2. SCALE OF ATTACK, ICELAND NORTH OF SCOTLAND AREA THE DIRECTOR OF NAVAL INTELLIGENCE said that he had received a request for an up to date appreciation of the possible scales of attack of all kinds against Iceland, the Faroes, Orkneys, Shetlands and the North of Scotland.
