THE CHAIRMAN refering to the technical experts asked for by S.H.A.E.F., said that the British Control Commission Economic Section were proposing to appoint a small advanced team to S.H.A.E.F., which might meet this new requirement. He believed it important, in order to establish continuity, that a part of C.C.E.S. should be brought into the S.H.A.E.F. organisation at an early stage. Future of C.I.O.S. COLONEL MONTAGUE pointed out that at present C.I.O.S. was an independent organisation under the Combined Chiefs of Staff but closely related to S.H.A.E.F.
