This suggestion arose from a meeting he had had in Cairo with members of the J.I.C. there. He had also been asked whether the papers they prepared met the requirements of the London J.I.C. In discussion it was generally agreed that reports sent to London from abroad were sometimes too full on matters outside the sphere of the J.I.C. which had prepared them. It would be helpful to have in greater detail the views of J.I.Cs.
