2. INTER-SERVICE COMBINED SURVEY, ALGIERS. (Previous Reference J.I.C. (44) 1st Meeting (0) Item 6.) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Minute by the Secretary (J.I.C./636/44, dated 30th April 1944) covering a Memorandum from the Director of Naval Intelligence. The senior naval intelligence officer at Casablanca had reported to the Director of Naval Intelligence that the Inter-Service Combined Survey intended to send a field section to French Morocco for revision of I.S.I.S. reports. It was, however, his opinion that to ask for French co-operation in the revision of I.S.I.S.
