(iv) Agreed that representation on the special Sub-Committee should not be increased beyond the size suggested by the Chairman, but that other officers from the Service Departments should be invited to attend as and when required: (v) Agreed to inform the Chiefs of Staff at their weekly meeting with them on Tuesday, 2nd November, 1943, of the arrangements made with Mr. Duncan Sandys for the formation of the special Sub-Committee. THE SUB-COMMITTEE then took note:- (vi) That Major Stamp had been loaned from 21 Army Group to help Mr. Duncan Sandys for part-time only: (vii) That the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Intelligence) was arranging with M.I. 9 of the War Office certain methods for obtaining further information about Peenemunde.
