The Sub-Committee were invited to prepare detailed instructions which might be issued to Commands at home and abroad on the question of the treatment of prisoners of war. After discussion, THE SUB-COMMITTEE:Invited the War Office to prepare and circulate a draft instruction as required by the Chiefs of Staff Committee. 3. ANALYSIS OF ENEMY FUEL SAMPLES. (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(42) 46th Meeting. Item 1). THE SUB-COMMITTEE were reminded that they had agreed at their (42) 46th Meeting to forward a Memorandum, which had been submitted by the Technical Sub-Committee on Axis Oil (J.I.C.(42) 352), to the Chiefs of Staff Committee for their consideration.
