PROPOSAL FOR MONTHLY REPORTS ON GERMAN MORALE. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Minute by the Secretary dated 31st July, 1942, regarding a proposal by the Director of Naval Intelligence that the Sub-Committee should undertake a monthly survey of German morale, co-ordinating all political and Service Intelligence on the subject. In discussion, it was generally agreed that the SubCommittee should undertake the task of co-ordinating Intelligence on this subject, but some doubt was expressed as to whether it would be found necessary to publish surveys at regular monthly intervals.
