3. INFORMATION FOR THE JOINT INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE, WASHINGTON. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them MEDAL telegram No. 269 dated 12th March, 1942, from Air Vice Marshal Medhurst in Washington to the Secretary. THE CHAIRMAN suggested that the time had come when the Sub-Committee should make it a rule to send to Washington telegraphic summaries of all the SubCommittee's Papers, followed by the despatch by air mail of the Papers themselves. Exceptions might be made as regards Papers on purely domestic administrative questions and certain other Papers which could be of no interest to the Joint Intelligence Committee in Washington.
