2. OPERATION "TORCH" SECURITY. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them:(a) A Minute, No. I.S.S.B./0.57 dated the 25th November, 1942, by the Chairman of the Board, covering an interim Report by the Inter-Services Security Board on security in connection with Operation "TORCH": (b) A Minute dated 27th November, 1942, by the Director of Military Intelligence, recommending that the above Report by the Inter-Services Security Board should be brought to the notice of the Chiefs of Staff Committee. In discussion, it was suggested that the Report might be forwarded to the Chiefs of Staff Committee for their information, under cover of a short Memorandum.
