(iii) Instructed the Secretary, upon receipt of the information sought under (i) and (ii) above, to inform S.O.E. of the proposal and to suggest that they should enquire the views of their organisation in the Middle East. (iv) Subject to satisfactory answers to the enquiries to be made under (i), (ii) and (iii) above, invited the War Office to arrange for the despatch of a message approving the proposal. 4. JOINT INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE WEST AFRICA THE CHAIRMAN informed the Sub-Committee that a Joint Intelligence Committee had been formed in West Africa.
