THE SUB-COMMITTEE were reminded that they had agreed at their (42) 46th Meeting to forward a Memorandum, which had been submitted by the Technical Sub-Committee on Axis Oil (J.I.C.(42) 352) to the Chiefs of Staff Committee for "It was now suggested that this decision should be ecision rescinded and that the attention of the Air Ministry should be drawn to the Memorandum and that they ey Inserts should be asked how soon such tests as were tee attached advocated in the Memorandum would be carried out, and whether any assistance from the Sub-Committee was needed to ensure that the appropriate priority was accorded to these tests.
