1. STATEMENT BY COLONEL JACOB. COLONEL JACOB gave the Sub-Committee certain information relating to his recent visit to Moscow. 2. LOSS OF DETAILED MILITARY PLAN OF A CERTAIN OPERATION. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Memorandum (I.S.S.B./0.63. dated 4th September, 1942) from the InterServices Security Board regarding the claim by the enemy to have captured the detailed Military Plan of the recent Operation against Dieppe. In this Memorandum it was suggested that there had been defects in the security arrangements for the Operation in question and that experience had shown the need for a revision of these arrangements for future operations.
