THE CHAIRMAN reminded the Sub-Committee that he had Suggested that they should undertake a further study of the results of our bombing policy and consider whether it was necessary to issue a report bringing J.I.C. (42) 117(0) up-to-date In discussion doubt was expressed as to whether the time had yet come to undertake such a study. There was little fresh evidence available and a paper on the subject prepared by another authority was now being considered in departments.
