The following conclusions were reached:A. PRODUCTION. (a) THE SUB-COMMITTEE approved the publication of the Ministry of Supply "index" figures showing progress in over-all production from a given date. (b) It was thought best that the Ministry of Aircraft Production "index" should not be published. (c) The Service Ministries were invited to consider and inform the Secretary whether there were any particular types of munition production, details of which, if published would be of considerable propaganda value and be of little, if any, use to the enemy.
