THE CHAIRMAN stated that the Foreign Office had arranged for a representative of the Chief Security Officer of the Foreign Office to carry out an investigation into security at His Majesty's Embassies at Ankara and Istanbul. THE SUB-COMMITTEE:(i) Took note of the above Memorandum by the Director of Naval Intelligence. (ii) Invited the Foreign Office to inform them of the result of the investigations which were being carried out. 5. FORMATION OF A COMBINED SERVICES DETAILED INTERROGATION CENTRE FOR THE FAR EAST.
