THE SUB-COMMITTEE:(a) Gave general approval to the proposals in the Chairman's Memorandum and agreed that a Sub-Committee should be formed of persons with expert knowledge of Japan to advise the Political Warfare Executive upon vulnerable points in the Japanese make-up which might prove suitable targets for political warfare. (b) Invited the Chainman to act as Chairman of the proposed new Sub-Committee. 3. SERVICE PRINTING SECTION AT CAIRO. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Memorandum by the Secretary of the Inter-Services Cypher Security Committee dated 9th February, 1942 asking that the Sub-Committee should recommend that priority should be given for regular monthly air freight to the Middle East of certain materials required by the Service printing section which is to be established in Cairo for producing recyphering tables, call-sign books and signals publications.
