be essential that the presence of such agents should not give any warning of the approach of the expedition. It would be essential to consult the officers who were preparing the plans for the expedition and to produce a detailed scheme for such action before a definite decision could be reached. CONCLUSIONS. It was agreed:(a) to take note of the Report of the Inter-Services Security Board and of the action which was being taken to disseminate false information; (b) to authorise the Security Board to despatch the draft telegram, informing the British authorities in the Middle East of the possibility of reinforcements being sent to Egypt and Palestine early in April; (c) to instruct the Security Board to prepare a detailed scheme for the advance action which might be necessary to ensure security at the ports of disembarkation immediately on the arrival of the expedition; (d) that the next Meeting of the Sub-Committee, at which this scheme would be considered, would be held on Thursday, 29th February at 3 p.m.
