3. TELEGRAPHIC SUMMARIES OF THE SUB-COMMITTEE'S APPRECIATIONS. THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF MILITARY INTELLIGENCE suggested that it should be an instruction to the Joint Intelligence Staff, whenever they drafted a report to prepare at the same time a telegraphic summary of the report in question for transmission to Commanders-in-Chief abroad and the Joint Staff Mission in Washington. THE SUB-COMMITTEE:Approved the suggestion at 'X' above. 4. INCREASE IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF C.I.C.I. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a note by the Secretary (J.I.C.(41) 481) covering a memorandum on the above subject by the Director of Military Intelligence.
