(b) Invited the Foreign Office to prepare and circulate for the approval of the Sub-Committee a draft letter to Allied Governments in London suggesting that they should each nominate an official through whom the Topographical Department could, when necessary, arrange facilities for the interrogation of civilian aliens. (c) Instructed the Secretary when the letter under (b) above had been approved by the Sub-Committee, to send it to the Security Executive for their consideration. (d) Agreed that the interrogation of aliens under the above arrangements should be made without any compulsion on the persons concerned to submit to interrogation.
