After discussion the SUB-COMMITTEE:Instructed the Secretary to inform the Joint Planning Staff of the views of the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee expressed at the meeting. 5. ATTACHMENT OF BRITISH OFFICERS TO THE RUSSIAN FORCES IN THE FAR EAST. THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a telegram MIL 1504 Cypher of the 9th November from No.30 Military Mission to the War Office. After discussion the SUB-COMMITTEE:Instructed the Secretary to despatch in their name a telegram to No.30 Military Mission stating that we would be glad to send Colonel Grimsdale if the Russians would accept him, and that a suitable Royal Air Force Officer would be available if required.
