1. Naval Liaison Arrangements with Russia in the Far East; 2. The Joint Intelligence Staff

After further discussion the SUB-COMMITTEE:(i) Instructed the Secretary to approach the Directors of Plans with a view to obtaining their further support to their recommendation that the Joint Intelligence Staff should be accommodated in close proximity with the Joint Planning Staff; (ii) Instructed the Secretary to inform the Secretary of the Chiefs of Staff Committee of their views in this matter and to request him to support their recommendation that the Joint Intelligence Staff and the Joint Planning Staff should be accommodated as close to each other as possible; (iii) Took note that the Admiralty and the Air Ministry would each appoint another Officer to assist their representative on the Joint Intelligence Staff.
