(b) instructed the Secretary to ascertain from the Secretary to to the War Cabinet and the Secretary to the Chiefs of Staff Committee their views as to the question of the despatch of certain J.I.C. papers to our Mission in Washington, bearing in mind the Sub-Committee's proviso in (a) above; (c) took note that any J.I.C. papers forwarded to the Mission in Washington could be sent by Foreign Office bag; (d) invited the Chairman to forward an interim reply to Rear Admiral Godfrey in the light of the above discussion.
