After further discussion on this point, THE SUB-COMMITTEE agreed that:(a) when any member of the Sub-Committee considers that the attention of the Chiefs of Staff should be drawn, as a matter of urgency, to a particular item of information, he will summon a meeting of the Sub-Committee to prepare a report. one copy of the report will be taken personally by the Secretary and given to General Ismay. This report may, at the discretion of the Secretary, be shown to the Secretary of the Joint Planning Staff; (b) if any item of information is not considered to be of immediate importance, a meeting of the Deputy Directors or heads of Country Sections will be held, at which the report will be considered in detail.
