THE SUB-COMMITTEE agreed to the Chairman's proposal as above. BRIGADIER ALLEN considered that the memorandum under discussion should, in its amended form, go to G.H.Q., British Troops in Northern Ireland. MR. HERBERT raised the question of Censorship personnel being provided with passes to enable them to carry out their duties and to make such movements from place to place as their duties required, in the event of invasion.
