French Missions and Committees in the U.K. Security of Certain Written Information in the Hands of:

1939

THE COMMITTEE agreed (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) that all French Missions should be asked, at once: (a) to return all British papers and documents in their possession to the source of origin forthwith. (Those to be checked at once by the issuing authority concerned) (b) to pack up and seal all French and Allied papers and documents, which have not yet been destroyed, for collection and storage by the British Personnel of the Mission concerned. that as regards the French Service Missions, the British Service Departments should at once make touch with the heads of the corresponding French Service Missions in order to implement the action mentioned in (1) above, and Should take subsequent action as regards collection and storage.
