THE COMMITTEE: (i) agreed that there should be established an Inter-Services Intelligence Section at the Central War Room for the Commander-in-Chief, Home Forces, to include representatives from the Ministry of Home Security. (ii) considered that the function of this Section would be to receive all intelligence regarding invasion or attack from the three Service Departments and the Ministry of Home Security, but that the distribution of responsibilities between this Section and G.H.Q. Home Forces could only be worked out by the latter.
