1. Germany. Possible Intentions. Draft Report Considered

1939

It was explained that the Joint Planning SubCommittee were considering the precautionary measures which we should take in order to be prepared for the possibility of Germany taking such action. After a full discussion, a report, setting out the views of the Sub-Committee, was prepared at the meeting. It was agreed that the most suitable method of presenting this report to the Chiefs of Staff would be for it to be circulated as an Annex to the report which was being prepared by the Joint Planning Sub-Committee, setting out recommendations for precautionary measures.
