ANNEX I. MOBILISATION INSTRUCTIONS. FORMATION AND DESPATCH OF A BRITISH MILITARY MISSION TO POLAND. 1. Composition of the Mission. Major General G.S. Major-Gen. A. Carton de Wiart V.C., C.B., C.M.G., D.S.O. G.S.O.I. Bt.-Lt.-Col. C. McV. Gubbins, M.C.R.A. G.S.O.II. Lt.-Col. E.R. Sword, 4th Hussars. Twelve Intelligence Liaison Officers will be attached to the Mission. 2. Object of the Mission. (a) The first duty of the British Mission to Poland will be to ensure that the programme of co-operation of the Polish Army in the combined plan as agreed upon in the Staff conversations is carried out.
