beyond India. This is on account of inadequacy of security measures within India and at Bangkok. Authority has been given, however, to the Air Officer Commanding, Far East to use the Air Mail for urgent works plans, but the information on plans of a specially secret nature (e.g. siting of bomb or petrol stores) is erased and numbers, elucidated by subsequent cypher signal or letter, are substituted for nomenclature. The matter was further studied in the Air Ministry and a letter (copy attached) was sent to all Overseas Commands on the subject.
