1 Jun 1938

ENCLOSURE. The Joint Secretaries, Committee of Imperial Defence, Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee, Richmond Terrace, S.W.1. FRANCO-BRITISH ACTION IN NORTH AFRICA AND LIBYA. Existing target information on Libya has now been exchanged with the French Air Ministry. Further information has since been collected and is now being investigated at Headquarters, Royal Air Firce, Middle East. It is suggested that it would be more convenient if an interchange of target information could take place between that Headquarters and the French Authorities in North Africa.
