Military Publicity and Propoganda in Foreign Countries. Note by the D.D.M.I.

1 Jun 1938

This section might be responsible for:(a) Decisions as to the most suitable types of service publicity including counter propaganda required in various countries. (b) Directives to the departments as to the collection and preparation of draft publicity material. (c) Preparation of "finished" material from the draft material submitted. (d) Dissemination by all methods. This special section would, of course, work in close touch with the Director of Public Relations, War Office, and with similar branches in the Admiralty and Air Ministry, which are presumably in a position to produce much of the rough material which will be required.
