2. Since then we have had under examination the question of the co-ordination of command in the Mediterranean and the Middle East and have submitted a report on this subject to the Committee of Imperial Defence (D.P.(P) representation) (Paper No. D.P.(P) 58). 3. In paragraphs 15 and 16 of this report on the co-ordination of command in the Mediterranean and Middle East, we record the following as our view:"In the meanwhile, however, it is desirable that the service members of the Centre should be appointed, and should start work without delay.
